WHO WE ARE
Agape Missions and Evangelistic Network is a Mission agency born out of passion for God’s work and with a burden to reach out to places where Jesus is not yet known. While the span covers the entire world, the immediate areas of emphasis are the Middle Belt region of Nigeria and Francophone (French speaking) countries.
The burden is to reach out to those who have never heard the Gospel, and strengthen the church where it already exists. It is a ministry to the body of Christ, to enable the body fulfill its mandate for the Lord Jesus Christ.
To achieve these aims, men and women are recruited, trained and assisted to get to where God has called them, particularly within Agape ministry areas. This ministry is an interdenominational ministry that trains and sends out missionaries for cross-cultural mission work within and outside Nigeria.
THE MISSION
– Train and send out Missionaries for cross-cultural Mission within and outside Nigeria.
– Evangelism among unreached people groups.
– Disciple converts.
– Prayer and revival movement.
– Relief and development in disaster areas.
– Impartation of missionaries’ children and children from Christian homes with sound education and godly values. In recent times, we have also extended our ministry to children from crisis affected areas.
THE TOIL
Psalm 74:20 “For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitation of cruelty”.
✓ We recruit people of all ages and from all walks of life and with diverse educational backgrounds.
✓ We train those we recruit in our in-depth character building and life transforming training programmes. Trainings are in English, French and some local languages, depending on the country where the school is located.
✓ We send trained missionaries under the banner of the cross and with full backing of Agape Mission into areas of need and with respect to personal call of the missionary by the Master, including the dark places of the earth.
✓ We run schools from Nursery to Secondary levels where we emphasize on sound education and impartation of godly values to children.
YOU CAN BE INVOLVED
Everyone has a place in the team. You can join the team by:
• Enlisting for training at our school of Missions.
• Joining as a voluntary or short term staff.
• Giving cheerfully to support the work and workers.
• Adopting missionary child to support.
• Meeting with a team of four or five like-minded people to pray for Missionaries and Mission activities.
• Visiting the fields to encourage Missionaries.
