Resumption of Schools (Messiah College, Emmanuel Academy, Kauna Kiddies.)
In July we shared with you how our students went on vacation and they are back in September to start a new session. Indeed our Lord God is faithful! All students arrived home in safety and they are back to school in safety. Messiah College students resumed on the 14th of September while Emmanuel Academy and Kauna Kiddies resumed on the 16th of September.
Most of the students in Messiah College are victims of insurgency. The younger ones are housed in Kauna home and attend Kauna Kiddies. Please keep them in prayers. In spite of trauma counselling and loving care by staff, some of them still cry for their fathers. Some get distracted by the forlorn state of their mothers in the midst of uncaring relatives. Kauna Kiddies with about 200 students is a fertile mission field for the many Muslim kids in the school. The same goes for Emmanuel Academy our day secondary school targeting our neighborhood communities.
We are saying a big thank you to God for his continual provision for our schools. The IDPs don’t pay a penny. Thank God for the teachers, the parents and even our students. It is our earnest prayer that these children grow up to fulfil purpose of which they were created.
