AMNET Conference
AMNET (African MISSIONS Network) is the networking of missionaries and mission agencies in Nigeria and Africa at large. They usually come together for the purpose of fellowship, accountability and networking. In the past the body had three major conference until they merged two and now, have basically two which is the “Koinonia Leadership Conference” and “The President and Spouses Retreat”
Koinonia Leadership Conference, is usually hosted by different mission agencies and this year’s conference was hosted by Agape Missions, Gana Ropp; in the home base of Rev. Bayo and Mummy Naomi Famonure, who are the founders of AMNET. It held from the 26th to 30th of August. We had in attendance 80 (eighty) leaders from different Mission agencies who are members and even non-members who are leaders in Mission activities, including church leaders. The conference is scheduled to take place once in two years. This power packed conference is just to bring missionaries together, strengthen them with the word of God, have a time to retreat and go back to their places of assignment.
Agape Staff Conference (August 2024)
Agape mission’s staff held from the 26th to 30th of August. This conference is usually a time of accountability, planning and fellowship. The missionaries in the field and administration all come together with their reports and present to the entire house. It is at this time that the mission agency evaluates the growth of its members.
Agape Foreign Fields
Agape Missions has various fields in Nigeria and even in diaspora. The driving force of the agency is the mandate of Christ to believers, which is; ‘’…go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.’’ (Mark 16:15 KJV) outside Nigeria, we have missionaries in Cameroon, Benin Republic and Ivory Coast who are dogged, ensuring that people come to know Jesus.

BENIN REPUBLIC
In Benin republic, we have 8 (eight) missionaries working in the land. They are;
Pst. and Mrs Ayodele Adeniyi, Apostle Eze-chinenye, Pst. Emmanuel O, John, Pst. Kossou Apollinaire, Pst. Judicaёl, Pst. Maflon Thérѐse and Apostle Emilia Ogigirigi. They are out there doing various works according to their calling.
Some are planting churches in Bѐmbé and Avagbodji while others are running schools in Tatonnoukon and Gbannito. Some organize outreaches as the spirit directs. The missionaries have a farm land in Tchaourou. Discipleship takes place in a particular place called Camp Jesus at Ketu.
We obtain reports, on how souls are won over to the Master in life transforming meetings in Port Novo, through these meetings the good news is going far and wide in the land. Currently, there is a planned indoor crusade all through Sundays in the month of October by one of our missionary, Pst. Emmanuel O. John. The theme for this crusade is “Proclaiming freedom to the captives”. Please pray with us that; there would be an outpouring of God’s spirit, hearts would be transformed, harvest of souls, revival will burst forth and also pray for protection and provision.
Please remember to pray for these men and women, that they will carry out the task of the Master appropriately. Join us pray for Past. Emmanuel O John, that he will acquire French language speedily because that is the language of communication in the land. Pray that distractions will not sweep them (missionaries) off their feet.
